It's hard enough to have your own back when you're proud of yourself and others don't get it. But what about when you're NOT proud of how you showed up? How can you love yourself when you get it wrong? When your inner critic just keeps finding more flaws to  point out?

It is not easy, especially for those of us who have perfectionist tendencies. We often struggle to believe "it's ok for me to get it wrong" or "it's ok for me to be human" unless we have a good justification as to why things didn't go well.

But the fact is we can choose at anytime to believe these thoughts, even if there's no logical explanation and we just messed up. In making this mindset shift, we give ourselves an amazing gift: unconditional love. As we practice loving our own brand of humanity, with its unique flaws, we begin to truly know, like, and trust ourselves.
