Welcome to The Wild Card Podcast!  Here's another wonderful episode from the archives! This is episode 63 of our attempt at this whole podcasting thing!! Today's episode features: Jared Eaton dreading Tuesdays and loving Thursdays, Jeff Curtis having seen every movie, and Ron Blair, the Man with the Golden......you fill in the blank. Throughout the episode, you'll hear the three of us discussing such varied topics as: The way this podcast is about slowing time to 33RPM (clearly we don't understand records), a lightning round of Favorites questions, the new secret security measures put into place to protect The Wild Card Studio (though we may have spoiled the secret?), we answer the most epic of questions: "Should Bronco Billy have been resurrected?", and occasionally we part from our tangents to discuss the first of Ron's Halloween Triptych: the works of John Carpenter.  From Halloween, to The Thing, to some of his....less well received later works, we take some deep dives into his filmography and get into all of the trivia. Join us on this journey to wherever and we're sure that you'll know all the Things if you listen to this most Hallowed Podcast!!

Please like/subscribe and leave comments below! Let us know your thoughts on John Carpenter's filmography, the glories of Halloween and The Thing, your answers to the various favorites questions, and if you are interested in being an official Deckhead!

P.S. "Horror is a universal language; we're all afraid. We're born afraid, we're all afraid of things: death, disfigurement, loss of a loved one. Everything that I'm afraid of, you're afraid of and vice versa. So everybody feels fear and suspense. We were little kids once and so it's taking that basic human condition and emotion and just f*cking with it and playing with it. You can invent new horrors."
~John Carpenter
