Today I was joined by the incredible Adam Langley Smith, Founder of RockIT Recruitment for a vibrant episode Recruitment Chinwag.
Adam is a self-confessed creative, studying Screen Writing back in his home town in South West London. He commenced his professional career in an Insurance sales call centre- eventually following some friends and his older brother Olivier into the world of Recruitment, during the GFC.
After a successful career in London, Adam got the "Aussie Itch"
He moved to Melbourne at the age of 33 to continue his Recruitment career. We talk about that transition, the lessons he has learned along the way, and the differences working within the Melbourne market compared to the London market. More "agreeable" is how how he describes it!
Adam is the founder of the successful recruitment agency "RockIT Recruitment", with a core passion for Fin Tech start up and scale up businesses. He is incredibly proud of the work he does in the DE&I space, placing 68% of his hires from underrepresented communities in the IT sector.
