Wednesday Wisdom 6/28/2023
I had a very busy weekend. On Saturday we celebrated the baptism of my granddaughter. What a magnificent celebration of fresh beginning and hope, then on Sunday I traveled to Arizona for few weeks. I look forward to my AZ plane rides, because it's 5 hrs of stillness which usually involves reading, writing and one movie and I always look for an uplifting and inspirational movie. I stumbled across a 2015 movie called "Joy" which is the biography of Joy Mangano, the inventor of the miracle mop. After 2 hours of stillness engulfed in this movie, I walked away with the lesson that as children we have unlimited dreams, but then life chips away to where we stop believing in ourselves and sometimes others. Well if this weekend showed me anything, it was to never stop dreaming, because the only ones that can truly stop us is ourselves.
