Injury is one of those dreaded concepts that we do our best not to dwell on or think about when we're on the precipice of mastering a new skill ascending to the next level of difficulty, or just sending it in our chosen activity or sport.
Injuries suck, but it's also pretty likely that in a lifetime of adventuring, we'll all get injured at least once. The more time you spend doing a risky activity, the more likely you are to injure yourself doing it. When our identity is wrapped up in the activity that we do, it can make an injury not only a physical thing, but it can also become an identity crisis.
