Description

Have you ever felt like you just wanted to scream? Or throw yourself on the floor while kicking and cursing everyone? Sounds a little extreme?  Well, it's actually a tool I have used for emotional release.

In this episode, I walk you through the importance of processing our feelings,  and I remind you all that - the only way out is through.

Through acknowledging and experiencing our emotions, we can navigate them and make them more manageable.

I introduce you to a tool I've used for years, a little something I call "throwing an adult tantrum."

It's all about giving yourself permission to vent, expressing frustrations, pain, fear, uncertainty, and insecurities in a safe space. I'll guide you on finding someone to hold space for you, creating that safety net without judgment. I also explain how to vent in a safe container, and how to allow yourself to experience all the uncomfortable feelings.

Venting is more than just letting off steam; it's essential for emotional release. Whether it's a challenging day at work, a tough email, financial setbacks, or conflicts with loved ones, venting offers an outlet to process through these emotions. We'll explore how expressing these feelings allows you to release negative energy, bringing them to the surface instead of suppressing or avoiding them.

But that's not all – venting offers clarity and perspective. By vocalizing your emotions, you gain insight into why you feel a certain way, uncovering underlying issues. It's a form of self-reflection, evaluating your reactions and responses to different situations.

Remember, venting needs a controlled and safe environment. Finding someone who understands and who makes you feel safe is crucial. Venting for emotional release is a powerful tool and I highly recommend adding this to your self-care toolbox.
