In this episode we dive into the struggles of exercising as a mother and its importance during pregnancy and postpartum.

This episode holds so much truth and very close to home. It is a really important message for of us mothers to hear. 

Joining me on this episode is Lauren Cardamone.

Lauren is a gym business owner & coach with an extensive background in Exercise Science and Nutrition, she’s a CrossFit athlete, runner & new mama to her beautiful 4-month-old Daughter Alba. Lauren primarily working with athletes and mums (& some familiar faces on tv!). 

Lauren believes that when out bodies are healthy so are our mind.

She is constantly reminded in her day to day at the gym and at home of the power that us women are capable of

And knows when we there’s a connection between a healthy body and mind, we are in the best state to support ourselves and our babies. 

Lauren sees pregnancy and labour and post birth as running the longest marathon yet as growing another human entails our bodies to be pushed, tested and stretched to it limits and our job is to be kind to ourselves but also accountable.
