In Traditional Chinese Medicine, summer is ruled by the heart, by fire, and by yang — that dynamic, outward, expressive force. It’s the time of year when nature is fully alive, blooming, buzzing, showing off in all her glory. And it’s an invitation for us to do the same — in our own way.
So today I want to offer some thoughts on how women can move with the energy of summer without burning out, shutting down, or feeling overwhelmed. Because let’s be honest: summer can be a lot. The pressure to be productive, outdoorsy, and endlessly radiant can start to feel less fun if we aren’t balanced.
