Description

Ever still wonder if those terrible tech rumors were really true? If American citizens are really being unconstitutionally spied on by some shady clandestine intelligence agency? One hellbent on a never-ending quest to collect and discriminate the worlds data?

With the foundation-rocking revelations of a hand full of whistle blowers (with names like William Binney, Julian Assange, Edward Snowden and Bradly/Chelsea Manning) beginning in the early 2000's, it seems like to ask such questions seems painfully self-evident. Thanks to their efforts, America learned of a global data-gathering network with access to levels of info and devices, previously thought impossible. Siphoned from computers, cameras, and microphones; to (most shocking of all) private citizen's personal devices. And this machine simply wants one thing: more.

However, pulling back the curtain to expose the shady underbelly of national security comes at a cost. And for four legendary whistle blowers, the price may have been too high. The alleged actions and illegalities threaten to undermine the appearance and legitimacy of the world’s leading democracies. But this exposure has met with a backlash in the form of arrests, warrants, renditions and extraditions.

Will the world learn from the costly sacrifices these whistle blowers have paid? What does the future hold for the concept of privacy? Does the end justify the means?

You decide.
