That burning pain might not be “just a rash.” It could be Shingles; a painful viral infection caused by the same virus that gives you chickenpox. If you’ve ever had chickenpox, the virus can wake up years later and strike again as shingles, often with burning pain, blisters, and tingling on one side of the body.
