Melvin Landry started investing in real estate in 2005 and built ‎up a portfolio to 62 rentals while working a W-2 job. I was doing this passively. ‎Ended up selling 80% of the portfolio due to a failed business venture. ‎Afterward, I decided to diversify and get into multifamily and, within 18 months, ‎invested actively and passively in 12 apartment investing opportunities.
