Throughout history vampire lore has described these mythical, merciless, bloodthirsty beings as monsters who hide in the darkness waiting for an opportunity to feed on any unsuspecting human who happens upon their shadowy cover. The chilling vampire is a very threatening image and yet strangely alluring. But there is a grim reality with vampire legends. And these legends were started due to actual documented incidents and terrifying encounters with vampires and death. These stories have made bloodthirsty vampires one of the most feared monsters envisioned in many people's nightmares. So does anyone really think that these terrifying beasts could actually be real?
