Well, I can tell you THIS was never in my plans for my life...but here I am, starting a podcast FOR YOU!

The past couple of years, it has been engrained in me that it is out DUTY to share the things we know and the lessons we've learned with others in need of help.

I for one needed help when I lost my law enforcement career unexpectedly, due to an injury, and felt like I had NONE. I felt alone, like no one understood me, afraid of what was next and like I didn't know who I was without being a cop. To be totally real with you (and I ALWAYS will be), it was terrifying to not know who I was and what I was supposed to do with the rest of my life...I was only 31 at the time...and  it was absolutely defeating being turned down by "real world" job after "real world" job...like my experience in LE meant nothing. Honestly, it didn't. No one "out here" cares that you were a cop or about what you did. So I can see why so many officers transition into similar roles when their career is over.

I tried to stay in similar roles, however none of them worked out...and I see why now. I took an interesting path, full of new opportunities, with plenty of twists/turns, and definitely some curveballs...all of which landed me right here, starting this podcast to go along with my current 1:1 coaching opportunities! More on ALL of that in later episodes.

This podcast will be a mix of solo episodes, mixed with interview style episodes, with a purpose of helping YOU create your Next Shift.

Thank you so much for being here and CHOOSING to spend your time with me!
