Dr. Aly Slater is a Palm Beach County native raised in Boca Raton, Florida. Following her upbringing in intensive ballet practice, she has developed a special interest in treating dancers' foot and ankle pathology. She received her doctorate in Podiatric Medicine at Barry University, where she received award recognition for clinical excellence. After graduation, Dr. Slater matched into an intensive foot and ankle surgical residency at Palmetto General Hospital in Miami, FL. She has been extensively trained in traumatic, reconstructive, and elective foot, ankle, and leg surgery. Serving as chief resident, Dr. Slater was able to explore her interests in leadership, philanthropy, and scholarship.
