They discuss Alex's early start in the West End at the age of 6, growing up and continually auditioning and working alongside her (also West End performing) sister, and the sacrifices her parents made to make their lives work. Alex shares stories from iconic West End productions like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Wicked, and Matilda as an Adult performer and working with young professional children in these shows. She talks about moving into the film world with (released December 2023) WONKA and transitioning to working behind the scenes as a creative on this film.
Alex and Nia also reflect on being performing arts parents themselves now, and if performing is the right path for their own children.
