On this week of Bakers Bantering, we recap meeting one of Derek’s favorite WWE Superstars, Bayley! The family celebrated the first day of Down syndrome Awareness Month with the Down syndrome Association of Greater St. Louis and the St. Louis Cardinals on the field at Busch Stadium! It was the final game of the season and final game of Adam Wainwright’s career, and a couple Cardinal LEGENDS were there for his retirement ceremony. Needless to say, many tears were shed (01:17-12:10). The Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift excitement continues, as well as Derek’s impressive run in the NFL Survivor Pool and Mizzou football’s hot start. Coach Katy Baker’s season is coming to a conclusion and she recaps the ups and downs from her first year of coaching (12:18-22:26). Thanks to our friends at Cricket Wireless and WWE, Derek got to meet the one and only, Bayley! She was impressed with his knowledge of her accolades and his posing skills. So much so, she thinks there might be a job offer for Derek in the future (26:52-52:42). There are some big returns and big predictions to cover in the Weekly Wrestling Wrap Up. Derek still feels bad for Austin Theory and turns the tables on The Rock and Pat McAfee (52:52-57:31). Derek details some of his favorite matchups from AEW Wrestledream, Rampage, and Collision. His last name is still Baker, but he says he’s joined a new wrestling family. Derek and producer Ellis share their excitement for Friday Night Smackdown, live from Enterprise Center in St. Louis, complete with plenty of predictions for the big night (57:33-1:19:42).
