Matt White has made a name for himself. He is the 2020 Winner of “NC Funniest Person”, The 2013 Winner of “Carolina’s Funniest Comic”, and The 2012 Winner of “Port City’s Top Comic”.
In 2022 he was awarded “Best Of Fest” at the Rubber City Comedy Festival and 2019 at the Cleveland Comedy Festival.
Matt has worked with Dave Attell, Orny Adams, Tommy Davidson, Micheal Rapaport, Roy Wood Jr, Dusty Slay, Donnell Rawlings, Bobcat Goldthwait, Tim Meadows, and more
Matt’s comedy journey took shape at ECU. When dreams of becoming a comedic actor led him to join an Improv Troupe. Later he founded a comedy organization, which branched off campus and became the hub for local comedy in Greenville NC.
Matt’s love for performing extends behind the scenes. He produces his on comedy shows and he is the co-producers/artistic director of the Oak City Comedy Festival (Raleigh NC). Matt is also a comedy coach and Instructor and teaches at Goodnights Comedy Club and Moonlight Stage Comedy in Raleigh NC. Enjoy.
