Very imperfect parent, Ariel, kicks off 2019 with a 2-part-solo-cast continuing forward from the *Bonus New Year’s Eve “Letting Go”episode.
In part 1, we are reminded of the importance of “surrender”. When times get dark and difficult, we must be like the Native North American “White buffalo” and face into the storm. We must find courage and move “through” the troubles instead of around them and stay open to the “unknown”. We cannot forget to lead by example and do our best to be real, authentic and honest with our kids. Yet at the same time, we must create a safe bubble for them to feel grounded amidst the chaotic, transitional and sometimes challenging times in our imperfect lives.
