Ariel Andersson and Yustin Castillo discuss another mindfulness technique to help balance our daily family lives. Somatic meditation is about body signals and awareness.   Yustin walks us through parent/kid/teen meditations in both Spanish and English.  These can be done by young adults or alone, with parents and others to help check in with our bodies, seeing what somatic knowledge is available to us to help us manage all kinds of moments in our lives. Yustin is a mom of a 13-year-old young man and works with her family as well as clients, in multiple ways.  The meditations she shares with us are mindfulness tools for the whole family to keep balance, awareness, calm, and clarity for life and moments that happen along the way, regardless of belief systems, religions, and more.

In various moments in life, our bodies are responding and giving us information, if we are paying attention.  What if we learn to understand what our bodies are telling us? How could we thus change our experience of daily life and all that comes with it?
