Donald Trump suffered a late night panic attack on Truth Social, lashing out at the DOJ and special prosecutor Jack Smith. That's nothing new, but then Trump sent out a threat that many of his followers will take as a call to action. Trump told his followers that they had to "stop these monsters", and that's the kind of language that his base loves to interpret as marching orders.

Conservatives from Ted Cruz to Ben Shapiro spent the days leading up the Barbie Movie premier trashing it as a feminist work that somehow, according to Cruz, promoted a pro-China message. They were hoping to create such a huge backlash that the movie would bomb, but instead it went on to break records with the largest movie opening of the year - and becoming the largest opening weekend for a film with a female director in history.

Over the weekend, Fox host Liz Claman suggested that the silence we've seen from Mark Meadows is likely an indication that he is working with the special prosecutor against Donald Trump. Claman suggested that Meadows probably isn't the only former Trump ally doing so, either. This is entirely plausible, even though Meadows' attorneys have denied that he is working with the DOJ against his former boss.
