Last week, Kari Lake made the disastrous decision to give an interview to Piers Morgan, and it went as bad as any interview ever has. Lake was supposed to be talking about the prison sentences for Proud Boys, but Morgan decided to school her on her fake election claims, and then went into full attack mode when she continued to spread lies about both her and Trump's election losses.
Also, Donald Trump is absolutely freaking out now that his former adviser Peter Navarro has been convicted on two counts of contempt of Congress. Trump took to social media to blast everyone from the DOJ to Nancy Pelosi, but his fear isn't about the fate of his former friend - He's afraid that his other co-defendants in his trials will see that it IS possible to go to jail and that this threat might make them turn against him.
And finally, Republican Congressman Jim Jordan loves to show the public how stupid he is, and he proved it once again at the end of last week by sending a letter to the Department of Justice demanding that they address a conspiracy theory from one of Trump's co-defendant's lawyers. The lawyer, Stanley Woodward, claims that the DOJ pressured a witness into flipping on Trump, and Jordan wants an explanation of why this happened. But what he's really asking is for the DOJ to explain how criminal proceedings work because he's an idiot.
