Prosecutors with the DOJ have successfully gotten one of the key witnesses at Mar-a-Lago to flip on the other indicted individuals in the documents case, and one of the lawyers representing Trump's valet Walt Nauta is apoplectic over this. The lawyer, Stanley Woodward, was irate at the news, and accused the Department of Justice of taking "improper" actions to get the witness to flip. But that's not what happened at all, and the whole thing was fairly routine.
Also, the polls that are being released right now about hypothetical Biden vs Trump matchups for November 2024 should all be taken with a grain of salt, considering the election is 14 months away. But there is one new poll that should be thrown out altogether. According to a new poll, Donald Trump is absolutely crushing President Biden among a certain group of American citizens - UNLIKELY VOTERS. They actually took the time to get the opinions of people who aren't even registered to vote and are presenting the results as if they matter.
And finally, during an interview with conservative talk show host Hugh Hewitt this week, Donald Trump made an outrageous claim that is surely going to be used by prosecutors against him in court. Trump told Hewitt that as president he is allowed to do "whatever I want," and he made this comment specifically while talking about taking classified documents from The White House. This clip will be played, most likely, in every courtroom that Trump enters for his trials.
