Kevin McCarthy wasn't the only Republican in Matt Gaetz's sights this week, as he decided to take aim at his best friend Jim Jordan for putting on a "failure theater" with the Judiciary Committee's Biden investigations. These are strong words coming from a Republican who actually supports the impeachment inquiry, and if he's willing to admit that the whole thing is a failure then that doesn't bode well for the investigation. But the real question is why is Gaetz burning so many bridges right now?

Also, during a speech last Friday to her supporters, Marjorie Taylor Greene appeared to approve of the idea of everyone committing tax evasion by going on some kind of a tax strike. The idea was actually posed by one of her supporters in the crowd, and Greene decided to run with it while also admitting that the headlines were going to be lighting up with her claims. She's right - because she could have handled the suggestion like a normal person instead of a crazy person.

And finally, according to new reports, Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis is offering a new batch of plea deals to defendants in the election case, presumably hoping to get some folks to flip on higher up targets, like Donald Trump. Willis has already officially flipped one defendant, with deals up in the air for Sidney Powell and Kenneth Chesebro, as well. These new offers could add a few more names to the flip list.
