According to new reports, even Melania Trump has come to the realization that her husband has hired some of the worst bargain bin attorneys possible. Melania reportedly came to this realization during the E. Jean Carroll assault and defamation trial, and she is said to have become "livid" over the fact that her husband's lawyers did such a poor job. She's not wrong about any of it, but her anger would be better suited if it were directed at someone else.
Also, in a court filing this week, Rudy Giuliani admitted that he DID spread false statements about the two Georgia election workers who are suing him for defamation, but he swears that this type of speech is protected. This admission is going to make it nearly impossible for him to win the case, especially because the women have verifiable damages that they have suffered as a result of the false statements he now freely admits that he made.
And finally, Donald Trump is still riding high as the GOP frontrunner in the 2024 Republican race, but new polls show that the man is suffering greatly from the indictments and scandals of the past 12 months. His overall approval rating among Republicans has taken a steep dive since July of 2022, and his unfavorable rating has ticked up considerably. Republicans are going to be saddled with a candidate that they do not like, and that never bodes well for voter turnout in the general election.
