Rudy Giuliani suffered another major loss this week when a judge issued a judgement against him in the defamation lawsuit filed by two Georgia election workers. This is just the latest in a long line of humiliations that Giuliani has suffered all because of his involvement with Donald Trump. Had Giuliani not been desperate to serve in a presidential administration, he'd be happily retired and out of the hot seat, but this is the path he chose.
Also, Sidney Powell is trying desperately to get herself untangled from the RICO charges against her in Georgia, and she filed a motion in court this week attempting to get away from the other defendants. According to her filing, Powell says she never had anything to do with Donald Trump's legal fights, a claim that left prosecutors scratching their heads because it is painfully untrue. But Powell may still have the chance to make that argument.
And finally, the transcript of Donald Trump's deposition with the New York Attorney General's office has been released, and it is as bonkers as you would expect. Not only did Trump claim that he was too busy preventing nuclear war as president to commit crimes in New York, but he also threw his son Eric completely under the bus and said that Eric was basically in charge of the company when all the fraud happened.
