Donald Trump was just one out of a total of 19 people indicted by Fulton County prosecutor Fani Willis, and the 18 people not named Donald Trump now have a decision to make: Are you going to go to jail, or are you going to strike a deal with prosecutors to flip on Trump? We already know that many of the indicted individuals are trying to throw Sidney Powell under the bus, but that won't be enough to save them. They have to flip on Trump to avoid jail.

Also, a group of former Republican-appointed judges and federal officials have filed an amicus brief to Judge Tanya Chutkan, concurring with the DOJ's request for an early trial date for Donald Trump. The conservatives argue that the timeline proposed by Jack Smith is not only fair, but that it actually is in Trump's best interest to get this matter resolved as quickly as possible. These conservatives understand a very basic reality of what's going to happen next year.

And finally, because the governor of Georgia does NOT have the power to pardon people convicted of crimes, the only hope that Donald Trump would have of being pardoned would be with a state pardon board. And unfortunately for Trump, there are strict legal requirements. For example, he will have to serve 5 years of his sentence before he can even make a request to be pardoned - and the RICO charges that he was hit with carry a minimum penalty of 5 years in jail.
