Donald Trump is continuing to attack Judge Juan Merchan's daughter, even publicly naming her during one of his recent tirades on Truth Social. The man has gone completely psycho as his trial nears, and the judge can put a stop to this immediately if he chooses to do so. Trump is going to continue to push the envelope until the judge cracks.
Also, Lara Trump was called out on NBC this week for only getting the job as the co-chair of the RNC because she married into the Trump family, but she tried to assure Republicans that she knows what she's doing. Unfortunately for Lara, the reason that she gave when asked why Republicans should trust her should give all Republicans reason to worry because it shows that she has no idea what she's doing and she's in way over her head.
Finally, in a court filing this week, Donald Trump's lawyers argued to Judge Aileen Cannon that he's now just too busy to be prosecuted - because he's too busy being prosecuted in New York. The lawyers said that the April 15th start date for the hush money trial creates too many scheduling conflicts, and therefore Cannon should move back her trial. This argument will likely prevail with Cannon, even though the lawyers knew to anticipate both trials.
