Donald Trump spent his evening on Sunday attacking his former Vice President, Mike Pence, over Pence's recent statement about being willing to testify against Trump, if he is called to do so. Trump had an absolute meltdown and attacked the former VP, even though he has been expressly forbidden by the courts from attacking potential witnesses.
Also, Mitch McConnell experienced something over the weekend that he's never experienced before: A crowd of his supporters heckling him during a speech. Following his recent malfunction during a press conference - and all of the revelations about his poor health that followed - McConnell was met with a chorus of people chanting "retire" as he tried to deliver a simple speech on friendly grounds. This is not a good sign for the aging Senator.
And finally, Donald Trump's newest lawyer John Lauro is proving to be just as bad as the rest of his legal team. Over the weekend, Lauro decided to make the rounds of the Sunday morning talk shows where he continued to admit that Trump DID do the things he's been indicted for, but insisted the context of everything was wrong. This is not a stellar legal defense at all - in fact, it isn't a DEFENSE at all - and his lawyer is doing more harm than good at this point.
