Donald Trump has made it perfectly clear that he intends to invoke The Insurrection Act if he gets back into the White House, and has suggested that he would have the military march into blue cities and states. This would be done, according to Trump, to stop the "crime" that liberal cities are allegedly suffering from, but experts are sounding the alarm that this is just a farce. Trump will crush his political enemies with the full might of the military, and that is something that isn't being talked about enough.
Also, Marjorie Taylor Greene's new book has officially been out for a full week, and things couldn't be worse for her. The book has barely managed to crack the top 10,000 in book sales on Amazon, and even her supporters - people who have now voted for her twice - are trashing the book. The whole thing has been a complete flop for Marge, and she's learning the hard way that being "popular" or "well known" isn't the same as being liked or respected.
And Republican Congressman Matt Gaetz doesn't have many friends left in Washington, D.C., and he's finding out that being the lone wolf isn't the best path to survival. A new report says that the House Ethics Committee - controlled by Republicans - has now expanded its investigation into Matt Gaetz, including looking into whether or not he was sharing lewd photos of women he'd slept with with members on the House floor. Gaetz is also suffering from a popularity problem back home, creating a perfect storm to kick him out of office.
Finally, at least four states are currently conducting investigations into the fake Trump electors that gathered in their states, a sign that the drama surrounding Trump's attempts to steal the 2020 election is far from over. But these investigations aren't just a threat to the fake electors - there's a strong chance they could be traced back to Donald Trump himself, therefore resulting in even more criminal charges against him.
