Donald Trump's lawyers tried to get an expedited hearing so that they could fight the reinstated gag order at the New York state Supreme Court, but the lawyers made several blunders that prevented this from happening. To start with, the judge let them know that they actually waited too long to file the motion since the appellate court ruled on it three days ago (5 if you count the weekend.) They made several other procedural errors that hurt them, and their incompetence is taking a toll on their client.
Also, former Trump ally turned critic Liz Cheney offered up a bleak and terrifying scenario for what happens if Trump gets back into the White House after next year's election. According to Cheney, Trump will NOT leave office after the end of his second term, echoing a sentiment that we've been expressing for over a year. And Rudy Giuliani is trying to weasel out of a defamation lawsuit against him in the dumbest way possible. Giuliani was sued by two Georgia election workers, and the judge already issued a pre-trial judgment against Giuliani finding him liable and ordering him to pay the legal fees of the women. Knowing this, Giuliani filed a motion requesting that the jury trial be scrapped, but the judge shot that down as "nonsense" because she knew EXACTLY what Giuliani was trying to do.
Finally, Donald Trump has come up with a brand new excuse for his constant mental blunders, and this one is quite a doozy. After The Lincoln Project put out a new ad titled "Feeble" that showed various clips of Trump making mistakes during his speeches, the former President lashed out at the group and claimed that the clips were created using artificial intelligence. This is how Trump will now react to any video showing him doing or saying something stupid.
