Shortly before he surrendered to authorities on Thursday, Donald Trump replaced his top lawyer in Georgia, swapping him out for a high-profile white collar criminal defense attorney. And even though this new lawyer looks good on paper with an impressive resume, it didn't take long for him to completely humiliate himself with an idiotic statement about the case that proves he has no chance of winning.
Also, Kari Lake is being sued for defamation by an election official in the state of Arizona, and she appears to admit in a recent court filing that she did, in fact, lie about what the man did. But Lake swears that her lies are protected by the First Amendment, even though slander/libel/defamation are clearly NOT protected forms of speech. Lake is now in a position where it is almost impossible for her to win this case.
And finally, Marjorie Taylor Greene was left absolutely livid and embarrassed following the Republican primary debate on Wednesday evening after Fox News banned her from entering the "spin room" to act as a surrogate for Donald Trump. Trump's son, Don Junior, was also banned from entering the room, but he didn't have as big of a meltdown as Marge. But Fox had already told them they wouldn't be allowed in, so the reality is that Marjorie was trying to play it up for the cameras to paint herself, and Trump, as victims of "censorship."
