During an appearance on Fox Business this week, a guest suggested that Donald Trump should sue New York Attorney General Letitia James for "sex and race discrimination." Such a lawsuit would have absolutely no chance of success, but the mere suggestion of it lets us know how disgusting Trump's allies are. There is no evidence at all that Trump was sued because of his race or gender, but when you're desperate you start clinging to whatever theory makes you feel better.
Also, Marjorie Taylor Greene understands what's at stake with her effort to remove Mike Johnson as the Speaker of the House, and she doesn't care. In fact, she said this week that she will not accept ANY of the blame if the House ends up electing a Democratic speaker. To be fair, Greene is just continuing on the path that people like Matt Gaetz put the Party on last year, so she shouldn't receive 100% of the blame.
And a new poll from the Associated Press shows that Americans are NOT enthusiastic about either Joe Biden or Donald Trump running for President again, but there's a difference in what is motivating voters. According to the poll, huge numbers of Democrats are being motivated by their fear of a second Trump term, and that number outweighs the number of Republicans that are motivated by their hatred of Biden. It seems that Biden isn't quite as unpopular with Republicans as they'd like to think, and that could seriously hurt Trump in November.
Finally, Donald Trump's campaign is heading south in a way that he didn't expect, and his lack of campaign cash is hurting him in ways that he can't make up for. Trump doesn't have a single rally on his schedule between now and the election, and the reason is because he can't afford to hold any. While he'll definitely not stay hidden forever, he's already trailing behind Biden who did a major sweep of swing states in the past 18 days while Trump golfed and whined on Truth Social.
