A seemingly-impaired Donald Trump went on a bizarre rant during a speech in Iowa over the weekend where he talked about how he would rather be electrocuted than eaten by a shark. He made these comments while trying to claim that boat engines will be required to be electric in the future, which isn't true, but that didn't stop him from saying that people will be electrocuted from the engines - or eaten by sharks, whatever they prefer.
Also, Matt Gaetz says that he is going to file a motion this week to remove Kevin McCarthy as Speaker of the House, but it is Gaetz's own future that he needs to be more concerned about. Republicans in Congress are starting to embrace the idea of ousting Matt Gaetz from Congress altogether, depending on the results of the House Ethics Committee investigation into his "activities." But these rumors wouldn't be swirling if the Ethics Committee didn't have some good evidence that Republicans were aware of.
Trump lawyer Christina Bobb isn't happy about the state of her reputation, and she recently appeared on a right wing media outlet to whine about what's happened to her. Bobb says that she is now viewed as a "crazy conspiracy theorist" all because she pushed Donald Trump's election lies in the media and in lawsuits. She has no one to blame but herself for this, as she made the choice to stake her reputation on representing Donald Trump.
