The former IT Director of Mar-a-Lago has ditched his Trump-funded lawyer and then immediately rolled on Donald Trump. The man, Yuscil Taveras, was facing potential perjury charges while being represented by a lawyer paid for by Trump's Super PAC, and as soon as he dropped that lawyer he retracted his potentially criminal statement and admitted that the order to delete surveillance footage came from Trump.
Also, Eric Trump is still trying to claim that the Biden family is somehow more corrupt than his own, and in order to make his points he has resorted to telling easily debunked lies. During an appearance on Newsmax this week, Eric claimed that every dollar from foreign officials that was spent at Trump properties while his dad was president was immediately donated back to the US Treasury, even though there are zero records to back this up.
And finally, Mark Meadows is begging a judge in Georgia to save him, with Meadows claiming that he doesn't have time to get to Atlanta to surrender by the deadline this coming Friday. But Fani Willis, the prosecutor that charged Meadows and others, isn't buying into his excuse. In a letter to Meadows' lawyer, Willis said that he is no different than any other defendant, and that two weeks was more than enough notice to head to Georgia. Furthermore, she said that if he doesn't surrender on time, she'll be issuing a warrant for his arrest.
