Welcome to Pints & Pelvic Floors: The Podcast. In Episode 22, I will hit all the major highlights of 2023 including a review of the various things we did this year, in large part thanks to our awesome community of patients, providers, and supporters!

Episode 22 Recap:

• We hit one full year in the building & Dr Marlena celebrated one year at Pelvic Pride in October. 
• We were able to help 215 new patients this year and hit over 1500 patient visits this year. We are so thankful for everyone who placed their trust in Pelvic Pride for their pelvic floor therapy needs.
• Community events this year included:
  • Silver Sponsor of the Baltimore Birth Festival
  • Continued prenatal & postnatal yoga workshops at The Womb Room with Brielle, and introduced Pelvic Mechanics for Birth in October (perfect for all birthing people regardless of planned delivery method)
  • Donations for Q2 retail (lube, wands, dilators, belly bands, etc) was donated to The Pride Center of Maryland
  • Food Drive for Baltimore Safe Haven Food Pantry (to be donated at the start of the year)
• Professional community outreach:
  • 3 part series for Gender-Inclusive & Trauma-Informed Care in June for the APTA NY Student Special Interest Group
  • We got to offer the same talk to Columbia University & New York Medical College (PTs, OTs, OB/GYN med students, etc were in attendance)
  • Dr Marlena completed her training in transgender care and has been doing awesome treating patients pre- and post op
  • Joined Mark Goldberg on the Erectile Dysfunction Radio postcast to discuss how a strong pelvic floor helps with a stronger erection
• Pints & Pelvic Floors: The Podcast launched in July 2023!
  • In 2024 we will welcome guests onto the podcast and share even more information for our podcast community & Baltimore community
• Our admin team grew!
• Workshops AT Pelvic Pride will officially launch in 2024
  • Return to Running Postpartum - January 
  • Diastasis Recti Workshop - TBA in February
  • Postpartum ABCs - likely in late February or early March
