Brenda Batista, SLP
@tiny.talkers.speech

In another incredible interview on the Moms Working Overtime Podcast, I have the opportunity to bring you speech therapist and homeschooling mom of four, Brenda Batista.

Brenda shares tons of great tips for recognizing developmental delays in speech and language, how to use strategies in your day-to-day activities with your children to improve their language development, how to choose toys that support language development, and utilizing screen time in the best way possible.

As moms, the last thing we need is another task on our list that we feel we have to set aside time for with our children. In this episode, you'll learn simple things you can implement into what you're ALREADY doing that can help your child's processing and language development - meaning NO extras, NO more tasks, NO pressure.

We never want a mom to leave this podcast with unrealistic expectations or feeling like she's falling short. I love Brenda's approach to helping us recognize small ways we can show up better, but that it's OKAY to utilize things like screens sometimes because we need a moment to breathe. There are so many valuable pieces of information jam packed in just one hour of listening.

You're doing an amazing job, mama!
