Sometimes things just aren’t going that great - but remember those times where you felt really awesome? Where you felt wholly authentic and fulfilled with your art? Let’s take some inventory on those moments; write them out. Comprising this list of accolades can be a really motivating tool for those times where we might not feel on top of our game.

This is a tool for you - this isn’t performative, and shouldn’t be predicated on the feedback we get from other people. This accolade sheet reminds us of times where we felt truly present, and we can tap into our flow by imagining what those feelings would feel like in our present bodies.

Another tool with a similar purpose is taking inventory of the lessons we’ve learned. We stumble across so many profound circumstances of discovery, but how many can we call upon when we need a little self-to-self pep talk? Recalling these moments might seem tedious at first, but try coming at it from a place of gratitude and think about how glad you’ll be in your tougher moments as you look back to your past self for some inspiration.
