ATTENTION ACTORS!!! THIS ONE IS FOR YOU!!! This was a FUN one. I am talking to my former acting teacher Bill Marchant about his perception of me when he met me almost 15 years ago when I was fresh to Vancouver and determined to be a star. According to him, I was one of the first people who was so open and shameless about my desire for fame and it was a turning point for both us. For me, it was the first time I attempted to put that ambition into the parameters of a discipled craft. I had to put my money where my mouth was. And for him it was a glimpse into what was coming with age of social media and instant celebrity. We reminisce about our time together and how transformative acting classes can be and how my time at Vancouver Film School marked the start of my life in Vancouver.  We talk about how the desire for fame can affect your artistic journey and what it takes to from acting student to working actor and the spiritual quality of expressing yourself and honoring your dreams! Bill is another great example of exuding spirituality without trying to be spiritual. What a f*****g blessing to be able to cross paths with him!!
