I recently came across a post on Instagram of some spiritual thought leader telling people, in a very aggressive tone, that they need to let go of their desires in order to manifest them. It’s such a toxic cycle of preaching the power of our minds to create reality while simultaneously telling people they need to let go of the things they want in order to get them. It doesn’t make sense. Jess and I break down healthy and non-healthy ideas of what detachment could mean.
Then, I speak with Columbian - French - Canadian Drag Queen Adriana. Fresh of the hells of DragCon and that little incident during the season 2 panel, I talk to her about her journey to drag, what it was like auditioning and making it on the show, the filming process and yes the drama with her fellow castmates. It was such a fun convo!
