The first time Derek was on the show was to talk about how Lady Gaga saved his life. By opening up about her own mental health and medication journey she made him feel more comfortable taking control of his own. Ever since, Derek and I have been blowing up each other’s DM’s about my podcast guests, Britney’s IG and gossip about the queens from Canada’s Drag Race. Derek is back to take a deep dive into the big question: what it really means to be spiritual, why are people seeking this experience out, how to define it and where to draw the line when it comes to faith-based experiences and/or healing.
