This week, we’re sitting down to have a conversation with the Athletic Director for Riverview High School, Rod Dragash. We begin the conversation with Rod discussing his two newest hires, the Head Football Coach, and the Head Baseball Coach (Mark Sobolewski), who we interviewed a few weeks ago. We get into the philosophy of making coaching hires, and what it means to the kids, and the greater Riverview family. We also dive into NIL (Name, Image & Likeness), and how that may end up impacting sports at the high school level in the near future. We also get a prediction on the big Riverview Vs. Sarasota High School football matchup from Rod.
As always, we continue the conversation about Sarasota, getting Rod’s thoughts on all the roundabouts popping up across town. And finally, we put him through the Rapid Fire Gauntlet.
