This week, the Sarasota SpeaX crew sits down with the former president of Sertoma of Greater Sarasota, Jennifer Bash. Jennifer shares the mission of Sertoma (which stands for SERvice TO MAnkind), which is dedicated to assisting those facing challenges in speech, language and hearing needs. While the organization has been established in 1956 in Sarasota, it has been around over 100 years nationally.
Jennifer shares her personal stories of the organization, along with the heartwarming moments that make it worth all the time and energy she pours into the organization. The organization has also led to the creation of Hometown Fest, which will be celebrating its 10th year anniversary in 2025. Tune in for some exciting news about the event going forward.
