Fellow podcasters Kris LeDonne and Christy Fontaine engage in heartfelt conversation about showing up "as you are" with candid perspectives on living life as the best version of ourselves, in the many roles we fill.  Here are some key takeaways from this conversation:

  1.  It's OK to ask for help, receive help and it doesn't make you less of anything.
  2.  There is joy on holding somebody else's shovel when we do it from a place of intention and not obligation
  3. A lot can be learned from looking at a picture of ourselves a year ago to measure back and decide what went well and how we might need to grow going forward
  4. There is so much joy and freedom when we let go of old beliefs & stories that just don't fit us anymore
  5. We can never fully, love somebody else if we don't love ourselves
  6. Humor is a tool of resiliency that allows us to laugh at ourselves, and find hidden joys in the imperfection of life
  7. Laugh out loud and don't worry who's looking.
  8. Reminiscing through old photos can reconnect us to our roots & it's important to protect them so they can be enjoyed and shared when they're needed most.
  9. Even when you can't find that special picture, there's still joy in retelling special moments.
  10. Never underestimate the sentimental power of a handwritten note.
