This Week's Announcements:
Good morning and happy Sunday! Welcome to our October 20th, 2019 service from La Jolla Presbyterian Church.
Rev. Dr Paul Cunningham is preaching a sermon titled, “What God Wants You To Do” it’s the 6th week of the Fall sermon series titled, “Stranger in a Strange Land - Finding Hope in 1st Peter”. Today we’re looking at 1 Peter chapter 3, verses 8-12. A call to be like-minded, to be sympathetic, to love one another, to be compassionate and to be humble. Spoiler alert, we can’t do this alone. If you would like to connect with our church, you can find our website at LJPres.org. We hope to see lives transformed by a relationship with Jesus, and we strive to be a place where you experience and are able to express that transforming love of Christ.
This Saturday, October 26th, we are hosting a new member’s class for those interested in joining La Jolla Pres. The class includes breakfast and lunch, and it a great way to get connected to La Jolla Pres. Register by emailing Erika Hill at ErikaH@ljpres.org.
