Welcome to the Success Series!
Over the next 8 weeks, we’ll be diving ladyballs deep into the topic of success. I want this series to inspire you to really think about what success actually means to you, so you can start doing business [and life!] your way.
I wanted to go a layer deeper than just the shiny highlights you see on social media - so this series is more about the messy, behind the scenes stuff that make’s everyone’s journey unique.
I'm beyond excited to welcome my first guests onto the podcast throughout this series - some of my incredible clients who are sharing their real, raw stories of building their businesses. These conversations will give you a front-row seat to what worked, what didn’t, and some of the wild moments they faced on their way to success.
In today’s episode, I kick things off by tackling a big question: What is success, really?
For years, I struggled with this myself. In the corporate world, I thought you had to have a unique idea, be a total powerhouse, or hit millionaire status to be successful. And honestly? That belief held me back from taking the leap into entrepreneurship. I see this all the time - women doubting themselves because they’re comparing their journey to someone else's.
In this episode, I’m sharing how I redefined success for myself - what it looked like when I was building my wedding business versus what it looks like now, as a mum and a coach. I'll show you how I use my vision board to stay focused on my goals and not get distracted by shiny objects or what everyone else is doing.
I'll also be talking about how success isn’t static - it changes as we move through different seasons of life. What success looked like for me five years ago is completely different from what it looks like today. And that’s okay. It's about staying true to what you desire, in this moment.
So, if you’ve been chasing a version of success that doesn’t actually align with who you are or what you want, this episode is your permission slip to stop. It’s time to reset, reflect, and build your own version of success.
What You’ll Learn in This Episode:
My favourite quote from this episode: When you keep working towards an outdated version of success, you’ll always feel unfulfilled.
