Summary

In this episode, my childhood friend Amanda and I discuss the topic of motherhood as it relates to asking for help. We discuss why we think it's hard to ask for help, and how it takes a village to raise children. Amanda gives great motherhood advice and share about her experience asking for help during her C-section recovery. We also discuss the nuances of sharing experience versus telling someone 'what they should do' in a situation.  We also discuss the need for effective communication and the value of supportive friends. The conversation concludes with advice for our younger selves and reflections on the changing priorities and lessons learned from motherhood.
