Description

In this episode of the Meliora podcast from the Sustainability & Resilience Centre (SRI) at the University of Southampton we are looking at some of the outcomes, discussions, and concerns at the halfway point of COP28.

Our host Professor Simon Kemp is joined by Alice Brock, Sustainable Development Goals Project Officer in the SRI to discuss the latest climate science news releases, loss and damage, the COP28 presidency, phase-down or phase-out, academic responses,  the UK's role at the conference, and hopes for the final oucomes.

Apologies for the sound quality being a little different. We recorded this on Teams with headphone microphones and released it pretty much immediately (with no editing or background music added) on Wednesday 6th December to keep it as up to date as possible.
