I recently had the chance to catch up with John Paul Pitts who is the founding member and singer/songwriter/guitarist of the band Surfer Blood. We discussed how a local venue in their hometown of West Palm Beach, FL influenced the title of their new LP 'Carefree Theatre', his much-publicized personal setback a few years ago, the 10th anniversary deluxe reissue of their debut LP 'Astro Coast', the musician he wishes he could've collaborated with more.
