Abby is joined this week by her junior college judging coach, Lindsey Carlson. Lindsey currently serves as an Animal Science Instructor and the Livestock Judging Coach at Northeastern Junior College. Her and her husband, Clay, live in Sterling, CO and are involved with his family’s 200 head cattle operation in Stoneham, CO. She is originally from Bend, Oregon where she grew up showing hogs and developing a strong passion for agriculture. Lindsey went to Linn-Benton Community College where she was on a competitive judging team and was named an All-American Junior College Livestock Judge. She then went on to judge at Colorado State University and graduated with her degree in Animal Sciences the spring of 2018. She completed graduate school at Oregon State University and has been at NJC since the fall of 2020 and loves it! s
