Chucky was blessed to be raised by a faithful mother who knows her Father in Heaven and Savior Jesus Christ. This is why Alma 56:47 & 48 is so meaningful to him. Deciding to serve a mission wasn't an easy decision for him, but he learned on his mission how valuable his testimony was to him and how much more he could grow his testimony as he diligently served as a missionary. Not only as a missionary, but continually throughout his life as he always puts faith in the Lord like his mom taught him. He knows agency is so important and that we get to choose our choices, but we don’t get to choose the consequences. So as he learns to master the “natural man” with Christ he will have the power to overcome the adversary and not doubt and do God’s will!
